Hi Ken,
On my development server the Web Publishing Engine crashes every time I launch the SoSimple calendar settings solution. None of the calendars (yours or mine) will load without crashing the engine.
I updated templates to no avail. Running El Cap 10.11.6, FM Server 15 with MonkeyBread and MailIt plugins installed and enabled. Not positive it’s the calendar’s fault but it seems like it. Suggestions for me to try to work through this?
Thanks,
Matt
Hi Matt-
I haven’t seen this happen. We have done testing in that same configuration.
Does WPE crash when viewing the same calendar in your solution (instead of in the settings file)?
Are those plugins server-side? Have you tried disabling them?
Is this a developer version of FMS (with the 3 connection limit)?
Have any updates been made to the server OS (such as Java)?
Do you have the flexibility to do a clean install of Server?
Are other things (pages/webdirect) hitting the web publishing engine?
All is now fine. The calendar settings file became corrupt and who knows what else went haywire on the server. After a clean OS install (probably not needed but hey, it’s Filemaker), and fresh settings file all appears to be ok.
Running ok with…
Mac OS 10.11.6
FM Server 15.0.1.137
MailIt Plugin 6.0.35
MBS Plugin 6.4pr3
SoS 3.31
