a) for already finished events.. is it possible to lock/prevent single events from further changes

b) recognise actual events and user action and do some further workflow (in Filemaker only)
recognise a klick (doubleklick) on an existing event to run a script in Filemaker (e.g. to open the production window for that event)
OR recognise the actual selected event (e.g. to use a button to open the production window for that event) OR

a) yes – each event can be marked as read-only. This will stop it from being dragged in the calendar.

b) double-clicking or dragging an event or anywhere else on the calendar runs your own script in your own solution – you can customize it any way you want.

I recommend downloading a copy and taking it for a ride. I think you’ll be very pleased.
